BlackBerry Users

Have any of ya'll Blackberry power users here on the Forums found a way to post photos? Life was good on Windows CE, I hope by making the RIM jump I didn't loose my untethered photo posting ability.

Hmmmm..... good question. Folks can keep the silly IPhones, I love my Blackberry because it is a serious tool for doing the things that need to be done. I just love it when I have awsome coverage and IPhoners are asking to "borrow" my phone. I have never used any of the photo features and am looking forward to what folks here have to say to your request.

I have a Blackberry, although I wouldn't consider myself a "power user". I wouldn't even think of trying to use it to post pictures here on the forum...I find it much easier to save my "heavy lifting" for my laptop where I can edit the photos and such. Besides, the formatting of the forums comes across kinda goofy and difficult to navigate through. Maybe I'm missing something, but to use my BB for much more than a quick "forum fix" seems cumbersome. I'm curious as to whether others have found it less so.

I don't use my crackberry for web surfing. Canadian rates are rediculous for that sort of thing.

Your learning curve for the MacBook will be short, as with all Macs. Got my MacBook when Leopard came stock - moved from an iMac (with the swivel screen). Best designed computer I've had. The MacBook is really convinient. Runs circles around the PC's at work.

We're waiting for our contract to run out on our current phones and then will switch to the iPhone... Sis & bro-in-law have 'em and on trips we've been on, it was our verizon wireless that dropped calls and couldn't get signal... (I never saw whats-his-name & his "support group" following me around )... The iPhone is one swell piece of technology.

BTW, ain't that Apple Store one cool place!?

Your kidding right? Silly? It really is a good device and outside of having to sign a 2 year with AT&T, the price is right and frankly, though I don't own one, I have used both versions.

Posting photos? Just like using a web browser. Done.

Hey Shari:

I'm looking forward next week to your initial report on whether your trailer takes to Mac's well. Have fun exploring your new learning curves. See you in Salida.

Max should take to the Mac well...it's silver!

BTW, we went back later this evening and picked up a iMac for Mr.InsideOut. I guess Christmas came early this year! We're checking out all the curves this weekend ~

See you in Salida ~ travel safe!

I own 3 Iphones mine, wife, and son nothing better well worth the money comes close to replacing a Laptop. I have a Blackberry as a work issued phone no comparison. As part of my work I have to configure BB in the Enterprise way to many hoops to jump through. I listen to my audio books at lunch, I listen to Pandora Radio (Free) by the pool, I watch You Tube videos while I am waiting on my son, My calendars are all synced with my Imac any time a change on the phone or Imac is made, it is done via push so I do not have to connect back to the Imac, check out Mobile Me. I am responsible for several thousand XP machines and I am a MCSE, I am typing this from home on a MAC so that should give you my opinion of BB and Vista. Part of the problem with BB and Vista/XP is all the additional layers it takes to secure the devices and desktop in a Enterprise environment. But each to his own I make a living supporting Microsoft and Blackberry.

I use an HTC 6800, provided by my employer. (cell proider is Alltel) It has the corporate email Exchange Server thingee. Don't do much web surfing, other than the weather. Some sites recognize you are using a PDA browser automatically and send you to a different web page formatted for PDA/Blackberries. Fark.com is one of them.

I wonder how much work it is to do that? (wink, wink!)

Okay, well...it's not even out of the box yet. I am finishing up the final touches and packing for a big rally this week...the computer is my dangling carrot to getting my "work" done for that.

So, if I dilly-dally too much then I may not get to "play" until I get back.
