Avatars & Insurance

Hi all...
This Avatar is just CLOSE to what I have. Mine looks just like it except mine is 4 years from being Vintage...and it has the 2-tone blue 7 inch decal running half-way up the side...all the way around..
AND...I have the 2 tone blue awnings all all 4 sides over the windows. and the decal around the Aluminum "Shroud" over my 2 LPG tanks.
Mine is also 32 feet with twin-axle.

So......until I cn find a good photo of my Excella...I'll leave this Soviergn on. UNLESS ANDY can find a photo of one.
...Cat
I'd like to start a new thread...to find out what any of you have found out about INSURANCE for Full-Time Living (on the road or otherwise). State Farm says they won't cover me, unless I keep a 'Garaged-Address'. Even then, only 10% of the value of my rig will be covered. So, if it's worth $60K...only $6,000 worth of stuff... That's not enough when you travel a lot..and what about those who DON"T keep a 'Garaged Address' (closed -up home). I keep my stuff in heated storage and they say that won't work as one (GA).
So........suggestions? news? ideas? ????
.........Cat

Cat,
I posted some pictures on the site and then took the thumbnail that was created and saved it to my hard drive. I used that for my avatar. Works pretty cool.

Cat,
I think the first time I tried it I had problems just like you. I went back and looked carefully and I apparently forgot to check a box. I have forgot which one it was but once I did that it worked. I'm sure there is something that you missed.

Cat...don't click on "Submit Modifications" after you browse for the thumbnail you saved on your hard drive. First, be sure the radio button marked "yes" in the custom avatars section has been filled in. Then you can click on the "Submit Modifications" button.

I found that when I browsed for my thumbnail, the "yes" field would un-mark.

Cat,

I belong to another Airstream chat group and they have mentioned "Foremost Insurance" as a pretty good one for Airstreams. I personally don't haven't had any experience with them, but they are mentioned in the "Blue Beret."

Cat,

By the way, I see that you haven't created your own Avatar yet. I checked your profile to see if you have any pictures posted to AirstreamPhotos.com yet, but didn't find any. Obviously you have uploaded the beautiful picture of Bear, but not to the previously mentioned site. Once you've uploaded your pictures there, you can pick one of them as a thumbnail to create your own avatar.
