App Updated Look, Not a Fan Yet

So we primarily use the Airforums app on our Android phone but also have it on a tablet and desk top.

The version on our phone was the older version. When you opened it you saw a list of topics and a number next to it.

So it would say Subscribed (8) or Unread (159) and I could give those words a quick push and see the 8 threads that had new posts that we subscribed to.

The tablet app was not functioning well and we uninstalled and reinstalled and of course got the new version. This version has the bigger posts and the pictures that dont necessarily even correspond to the most recent post.

I was not getting the hang of it and quit using the tablet app except to see the classifieds pictures on a larger format.

We'll as things go the phone app had some hiccups and I uninstalled and reinstalled. Oh no....Now I got the new version on my phone too.

Gone is the easy to see list, Gone is the nice neat order from before. The page is full of distracting photos in full format. This will be quite the learning curve. Now I know why it's been so confusing to some new folks lately.

That's funny - didn't even know there was an App. I guess I should have looked.

So I went into settings and tried to figure out what some of the settings are for and how they​ function.

Was able to make some selections that helped me see what was read and what was new by greying out. Condensed the posts more compactly. Turned off the push notifications for various alerts.

Can someone explain what the setting about "use in app browser means" so I know whether to turn that one off.
