I got mine the other day!
The only problem is that I don't have my gold rivet.
Where's my gold rivet?
I noticed there a a couple of other people with this problem. I wonder what is going on? My donation was sent on the 14th of April.
Where's my gold rivet?

Silvertwinky, I can feel your aura from here. Cool! Wiser voices than I have said, "Badges? We don't need no steenkin' badges!" (Aren't we all feeling a little stir crazy while everybody else is out camping?) I know that several hands are involved with this program. Don't expect a world of change on Tuesday but the holiday probably doesn't allow your gold rivets to be turned on. I'll let you hold one of mine for the interim. Thanks to everybody for supporting the health of this Airstream home away from ... Airstreaming!

Don't feel too bad....
I paid my new donation at the end of February, got the automatic Thank You message from the system, and even asked earlier in this thread about my 2nd year set of Air stickers. I have yet to receive them although there was a response in this thread that said they would be coming as soon as a mailing list was put together. I'M STILL WAITING.....so don't feel too bad if you haven't gotten yours yet.

I know it takes a little time for things to get processed. I'm just being a whiner today, our camper is still in the shop and I'm a little antsy about it being finished in time for Moraine View rally. Shouldn't be a problem though!
Did I mention that I wanted the "GOLD RIVETS"?

Oh Bill -- Take a breath! I am right with you on wishing you get it together for Moraine View. Looking forward to meeting you both -- it looks like a good gathering this year. BTW, didn't you disentangle from Airstream ownership a couple years back. Is this a new acquisition?

Yeah, I did; I don't mean to hi-jack the thread either but here is a little explanation and a few photos.
I bought a 37' M/H. I knew it would need a little work at the time and I really got it for a great price. However, over the last two years it had just turned into a money pit and I didn't want to continue in that direction. We were camping one weekend in the M/H in April and on Saturday we went looking. We found a 2002 model 5th wheel and they offered us a great trade for our M/H sight un-seen. I almost felt guilty but I got over it. The 5th wheel had a couple minor issues that came up; when I moved it after camping for two nights I lost some grey water from underneath. It turned out where one sensor wasn't working I had over-filled one of the holding tanks and as a result the water started draining on the ground from the belly pan. No harm done though. I learned from the dealer there is a coupling that will leak if the tank is over filled. They got the sensor working and I will be more selective about allowing it to overfill. I had one other issue concerning the water heater which being a Suburban brand, they have a porcelain liner on the inside. I discovered that the previous owner had neglected to change the anode rod and as a result it allowed the liner to be destroyed. (So all of you Suburban water heater owners be sure and keep a check on the anode rod and change it before it completely deteriorates.) When I flushed the tank I was getting several pieces and slivers of what looked like glass from it. The dealer has agreed to replace it and that is what was going on with the camper. The heater of course had to be ordered and we are just waiting for it to come in. Actually it should be in tomorrow. The camper should be ready later this week.
The reason we didn't go back to A/S was partially due to the lack of available storage room they have. We have always enjoyed the ones we have owned and really liked the quality we found in them. We always had older ones and the most previous one we had was an 83 31’ Excella.
We have a grand-child we take with us a lot now and we simply need the room. We really liked this one after we seen it, so that is what we have now. We have no regrets! The Montana is built by Keystone and it is a complete aluminum frame in the walls ceiling and also in the floors.

It's a small reward for supporting this forum. At the beginning of this thread it explains a lot more about it.
