Adding a "Ignore Subforum" feature request
After a little bit of research, there does not appear to be a built in way for a user to block or or ignore a sub forum that they do not wish to view or see updated threaded from in the portal or new posts feature. Fun and Games forum, I'm looking at you! I know I'm not the only person that would like to ignore this or other forums from being monitored.
Andy, I have a link to a vBulletin mod that may do the job: I'll post it when I'm on not on the iPhone and on a computer with cut and paste. Do we think that this is a concept that could be implemented?

Thanks for the feedback. We are currently looking into adding an enhanced ignore feature that can be configured by each member. This should streamline surfing because you can filter out stuff that you aren't interested in.
Stay tuned

My breath is unabatedly bated, like Westie's. Never "baited".

bate: v.t. bated, bating to lessen or moderate.
bait: v.t 1. to put food in a trap or lure 2. to torment or tease 3. to harrass, heckle 4. to entice. lure
Bated is correct. Batted would be a batty breath.

Anyone remember "kids in the hall?"
That great show kids in the hall . Instead of relying on others to help me ignore offensive posts or threads, I find it therapeutic to do like Mr. Tyzik and the offensive thread or post. Sometimes I just hold my thumb up in front of my eyes and say "there's nobody home"

Has there been any further movement on an "Ignore Subforum" feature?
