Hi Rbowen. If you haven't found a solution yet, perhaps this will work for you. When I restored my 1966 Caravel 17, I replaced the sink cabinet door with a teak door, which I then re-affixed to the sink cabinet using the original hardware. This is a single piece of teak with saw kerfs added to match the teak bath mat (which is made from slats). Since the Caravel bathroom area is open to the living space, I wanted it to have a more finished, less bathroom-y look. I used new growth teak to keep it lighter in color, and then I sealed the cabinet door (and mat), using Monocoat. I also put foam insulation strips around the inside, so that it does not leak when the shower is used. This is my 4th camping summer and it still looks great!
If you are interested in doing something similar, send me a private message, and I could put you in touch with the carpenter who made mine.
