Which year is correct?

The data plate on '74 Tradewind says August 1973.
Is my trailer really a '73? My title says '74.

Airstream model years start fairly early. My 2008 trailer was built in May of 2007.

Thanks, on your trailer does the MFR BY Airstream Inc. data plate indicate that the date of manufacturer is a year earlier than the title?

The title has the model year 2008. The mfg plate has the date manufactured 2007.

74 model year was the first year for the GREY holding tank . If you have one that will tell ya .

The model year on trucks, cars, motorcycles and trailers often have nothing to do with date of mfg. I bought a Moto Guzzi mc that was sold as new current year even though the mfg date was 2 years earlier. Auto mfg will release new model years mid year of the past year. Very few mfg start their model year on Jan 1, usually the new model year starts in the latter part of the previous year. Hence you see 2012 models being sold in 2011., zz
