Looks like the controller for your converter.

That is the charge wizard pendant for your converter/charger. Should have a green light on it.
Steady green-high charge rate
Fast blinking green-normal charge rate
Slow(every 6 secs) maintenance gharge(trickle)

Converts 120volt AC shore power to 12volt DC ships power for the lights, water pump, control boards and to charge your batteries.

What is this?

I've got another what is this. This has something to do with the electrical panel as it is on the outside right where the electrical panel is on the inside, directly above the water heater access panel.

It looks like it needs to be replaced or is missing some cover.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Tail Light Monitor

Nevermind, upon further review I have discovered that it is the tail light monitor and just needs a new cover.

Can you explain how you figured that out? I've wondered what this same thing is on my AS. How does it monitor the tail lights? I'm drawing blanks here. Have I missed something in the manual? Thanks for your help.

Found a part on vintagetrailersupply.com and at inland rv.com that looked like it would cover it and then did a quick search on this forum for tail light monitor. Apparently, there are fiber optic cables that run from the tail lights to that little doohickey and the light reflects through the doohickey so, in theory, you can see from your side view mirror whether your tail lights are operating.

So that's what it is. I was wondering, and will check it out. And also duplicate your research. I appreciate your providing the info very much!

Another What Is It?

Here is a pic of the wall to the right of the refrigerator cabinet showing a wall outlet and then two holes for something. Can anyone tell me what went in those two holes? They look like low voltage switch areas but don't really know.

I am also wondering what the round hole to the left in the picture would have been for. It would have been behind the refrigerator vent scoop.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cover for Fiber Optic Tail Light Monitor

Here is the link:
Cover for Fiber Optic Tail Light Monitor

They say it is a formed aluminum replacement cover for the white plastic cover, which would help explain the white remnants still attached to mine.

I'll post a pic when I get mine in and installed.
