Our first Airstream...

Just wanted to stop in and say hello. We just picked up this 71 Tradewind a few days ago. Everything is original, except the curtains, as far as I can tell and in very good condition. I'll take some more pictures of it and let you all be the judge. I'll be pulling it with my 72 International Harvester Travelall. This is our first trailer, so I'll probably have a few questions but I'll look around and try to figure most things out myself. I've already confirmed that all systems are functional and it only needs a few things as well as some TLC. Looking forward to seeing you out on the road.

Chris.

Welcome Chris.

Your rig looks very nice. I would love to see it. If you are able, come on down to the rally at Fort DeSota in St. Pete the end of September. We'd love to see you there and you will have fun!!

Congratulations on you r new purchase.
Marie

Great looking rig. How has it been treating you so far? I have bought several older units that tend to creep up on you with porjects. But that's why we buy them. I just finished a redo on a junk 74 Tradewind and after a 1 1/2 year she has really come around. Check my pictures under Bradjun1, Still some work left but thats why we love em.When you have something solid to start with you can go a long way.If you don't like your curtains try James Ambruso in FLA. He also has ads in the Blue Beret. He makes the best AS drapes out there. Gook Luck, Brad

GREAT looking setup, super clean looking trailer and IH. I like the look of the blue wheels and baby moons, that never occured to me! Please, please, please post some more pics. Inquiring (ok nosy) minds are wanting to see more!
