looking to buy a Tradewind

Well I have decided to sell my beloved 63 GT(with mixed emotions!)I bought my GT 7 years ago & restored it, but now we need a bigger trailer. I think I want a 25' tradewind, but I cant seem to find any that are reasonably nice. I am not wanting to do a major resto this time! Any ideas or leads would be appreciated....Thanks, Brian

Brian,

I would suggest keeping an eye out on the vintage classifieds here as well as other resources, we looked for nearly a year before finding our TradeWind. The main thing I had trouble with, was trying to remain patient! All the best & Happy Hunting!

I have one and we think we might want to sell it. We currently have a 69 Globetrotter, 65 Caravel and the 72 Tradewind. The Tradewind has two singles mid and a gaucho up front. As a bonus it currently has a bunk over one of the singles. I had purchased a stock bunk frame and wires for the other side. I have a new furnace but it is not installed yet. The body is in great shape. I have four new tires installed.

Not really sure about selling it yet but three Airstreams in the backyard is crazy.

Contact me at r_whiten@htmail.com to discuss if you like.

Located in upstate of South Carolina

Thanks,
Rick
