'76 TW with Dinette?

I am looking at a 1976 Trade Wind with twin beds and a dinette in the front. In looking at the floor plans for 76 TW's Airstream doesn't list a dinette for the 76 TW. Was this a special order? It also has the spare tire mount in the front.

Somewhere I have a pic of a factory dinette in a Tradewind of this era. I don't know if I copied it from Vintage Airstream or off an e-Bay listing. I used it as a guide to build one for my '72. I believe I also have a copy of the Airstream Story from '76. There might be some info there.
I'll see if I can locate them tonight.

Tom

Checked the Airstream Story brochures I’ve got. Neither the 1972 or ’77 show a dinette.
That being said, this pic was copied from the Vintage Airstream Model Archives and clearly shows a factory dinette. If the rig you’re looking at has the same configuration you could assume there was an available option.
My owners manual shows a spare tire mount as an accessory as well.
BTW my wife thinks the Tradewind is the best trailer we’ve ever owned. It is the perfect size for two no matter if its weeks or just a weekend.

Good luck,

Tom

The dinette was a $121.25 factory option on coaches longer than 23'. While I didn't notice any photos, it is listed on the factory price list in this link. The dinette option is listed on page 3 of the link. The spare tire bracket was a $38.50 option.

Good luck with your investigation!

Kevin

Thinking about doing the same with our 74. If you come up with any layout dimensions please let me know. Trying to find a factory built one might take a while.
