THANK YOU BUBBA FOR THE CUTIE PATOOTIE PORCELAIN BULB THAT GOES ON MY BREAKER BOX!
The bathtub curtain was quite a challenge without a pattern, but I finally made it. I attached snaps to the liner so that I can remove the liner for washing without removing the fabric.
I also made shades that are removable a backed with reflectix. They stay in place (for the most part) and really keep it cooler in the heat and warmed when its cold. Also, adds a lot of needed privacy. The FC is a bit of a fishbowl. I plan to add snaps to secure them to the valance and prevent them from falling when not attended to. The easily roll up and store behind the front couch cushion during the day and when the front couch is not in a bed position.
I am very happy with the barkcloth that I purchased in Hawaii.
Onto the next issue. The hot water heater just quit working. Ugh! I just printed out the Atwood troubleshooting and repair guide. Funny, now I feel the need to do laundry instead.
The curtains look good and adds brightness.
Haven’t heard the term “cutie patootie” in quite a few years. Glad the bulb/socket worked out. Sorry about your Atwood. Hopefully something simple. Take care
Looks sporty. Nice work. Silly question - my '63 FC has the head on the other side. had you moved yours streetside or just normal manufacturing variance? Enjoy the road with her. Frank
Original configuration. There were 2 choice for the FC in 1962. My model is the 2 person, L shape couch/goucho configuration. If I recall correctly, the Vintage Airstream site has all year and models posted with configuration options.
Happy Adventures 2 You.
