A 1965 ???? Can y'all help me out?

I am trying to figure out what the VIN means or if there is a manual out there for my model? It says Airstream Land Yacht and the VIN is SO 22 5001
I think it stands for

S - Santa Fe Springs, Cal

O - Overlander

22 - length

5 - year it was made

001 - Double bed

However I cannot find any manuals for a 22' Overlander or Land Yacht. Can yall help me out? Thank so much!

The 001 would indicate twin beds, double bed would be a number over 500. Here is a manual from the Airstream web site for a 65 20 foot.

In the VIN, O stands for Landyacht option versus the International and the 22 would indicate a Safari since that was the only 22 footer produced that year. There should be a manual out there. Good luck

Here is a link to the best serial number decoder yet published for 1980 and prior Airstreams: https://www.airstream.com/wp-content...2020-06-16.pdf

It can be found in the Document Archive on the Airstream, Inc. website under the title Sirstream VIN Numbers pre-1980. 1965 serial numbers are decoded on page 9.
