1960 Ambassador Restore - Phase 1

Basic information:
Scope: Total Shell-off Restoration
Trailer: 28DS-0177

Time to organized and get some help!

This 1st shot is a side view at the tire shop just so you can get a look at the trailer.

The next 2 photos are to show the condition of the wheels and springs.

I have made some progress since these photos but I have received some advice from the forum members to stay organized under 1 thread for this job!

Next, I will gut the interior and lift the shells. Most of the subfloor, banana skindses and underbelly is rusted so badly I will not be able to measure it, better yet, reuse it. So, any advice on how to get measurements.

More to come...

Frame work - Phase 2

Once I go the shell off and subfloor removed I found a great deal of damage to the trailer; rust and even the backend frame completely gone.

How can I get the frame repaired without the original measurements?
