I've got a 1940s 1950s PanelRay gas heater if you want to go that route.

Painted frame, and started prepping for the insulation
Day 19
March 19, 2023
Hours Worked: 7
Total Restoration Hours: 94
The frame was power washed, and then painted with a metal primer, and then an exterior paint.
I am also going to put in a lot more insulation than the factory. But to help it breath, I am keeping the insulation off the bottom of the pan.
I am using extruded aluminum carpet runners from Home Depot, and galvanized lath to provide an airspace under the insulation.

Mounting the Grey Water Tanks
Day 20
November 10, 2023
Hours Worked: 6
Total Restoration Hours: 100
I will be installing two 16-gallon grey water tanks over the axels.
I am creating a frame to hold the tanks by mounting 3" x 3" 1/8" Angel Iron to the cross members, and then a sheet of 1/8" aluminum over the angel iron.

Here is the mock up on how the plumbing will connect the two tanks.
The frame is in really great shape, most of it still has the original factory paint still on it.

Mounting the black water tank
Day 22
November 12, 2023
Hours Worked: 5
Total Restoration Hours: 111
Spent the day, disassembling the rear of the trailer floor. cutting away parts, and measuring everything six times over.
Ordered the sheet aluminum for the pan, that the black water tank will rest on.

Correction, the 3" x 3" angle iron is 3/16 inch.
Not 1/8 inch.

All of it looks great. We did about the same thing you did for our tanks in the belly pan. We did design the tank installation with a way to drop them if we ever get a hole that needs repair. Good luck

Day 24 - 25
November 22-24, 2023
Hours Worked: 9
Total Restoration Hours: 120
Fitting up plumbing parts, and painting the frame.
Here is the black water tank, there are no square angles anywhere on this, it is designed to drain out the 3" pipe outlet.
Somehow I have to mount this.
My current plan is to build an aluminum square box that it will sit in (the original design did this), place the tank in the box so that the top is flat, and pour in expanding foam.

Hello from Colorado: My 66 Trade Wind had a wholly inadequate black tank. It was about 5 gallons and it was 3" deep and drained out the back of the trailer under the rear bumper. See photo. My owner's manual said to dig a latrine hole, dump the tank, and cover it up. That was then, this is now.
So your 67 did have the redesigned bath and the tank sure looks different. Anyway, here is what I did with my 66 Trade Wind. I purchased two 25 gallon tanks. One for black water, and one for gray water. I moved the toilet so it would sit over the black tank which caused a remodel of the bath. I drained the bath sink vanity into the black tank, and the shower and galley sink into the grey tank. My tanks were T shaped and I hung them with angle irons. I drained the tanks under the frame rails like most trailers do, built an aluminum pan for the tanks, insulated it, and heated the tank with the furnace duct. My project might inspire some of your ideas. And might not. See photos below.

I had the same tank as you do. I did an above floor black tank and put the remaining portion of the tank under the bed. The portion of the tank that the toilet mounted on sits in the bathroom area. I shimmed it up. Built a 3/4 in ply box around it and covered it. Pre drilled holes in the box and filled it with spray foam. I used a shorter toilet.

DBJ216, thanks for the reply. Your setup looks great.
The aluminum to build the blackwater mounting tank should be ready for me to pick up today.
