Caravanner 2

A friend of mine once said that you don't find a cat a cat finds you...

I posted a few weeks ago that I was looking for a AS 20-22 vintage trailer. Looked at some Globetrotters, Safari's and even a Streamline . None of them turned my crank.

Then I went out to Colorado to buy a Jeepster Commando...that did not work out, but the hiking was good.

On the way home I stopped at the airstreamguy's place just to see what the different layouts looked like... And just like the cat... my Airstream found me (it helped that my wife liked also).

1957 Caravanner 2. Great Bones...plus an interior that I won't have any trouble trashing and feeling bad about.

How do you tell the difference between a masochist and a sadist?

The masochist says, "Hit me, hit me!"

The sadist says, "No!"

I just bought a 58/59 22' caravanner but can't get the city powered lights to come on without blowing breakers. Have a panel on the bedroom wall with 2 switches, the top is a 3 position, bottom 2 position, then a small light. Don't know which controls power from battery or city. Don't have a battery yet but wiring is in and okay. Push Matic Electri-panel box under bed has 2 reset buttons with 20 amp above the top reset. Please, anyone, what is the button sequence to switch from battery to city power? email if you know to alisapete@outlook.com

I would post this to the general repair section...you will get more response there.

those of us that use the portal function get all posts no matter what forum they are posted in, but using the correct one is useful.
