I suppose my is a 59 i have never ran the serial number.I checked on vintage airstream and there was several that looked like mine but without the bunk beds that was a option.Good luck with your project you will find this site to be a good resource. Our trailer is almost identical to the 18D0204 trailer in the '59 photo archives (at Vintageairstream.com), with the diagram labeled "Globester", with 2 exceptions: We now have a dinette in the front which was done by a previous owner and our bed looks like the picture which is attached (I hope). Our serial number also begins with 18D. The bed configuration is very handy because it opens up a lot of space for day use.

I finished removing the floor today so I'm making progress. FYI, there is no structural support at the foot of the door opening except for the plywood. I found out the hard way and will be replacing part of the belly pan.

I also just recently bought a 1959 Airstream. It is 18ft but it is called a Globester. It is a custom model with a couch in front. The nameplate was found in the bottom of the closet. Anyone else have this model? Not much info out there online. It is being restored now.Thx.
