The 62 has been great. It has been on a few 200mile trips and I've stayed in it most of the summer. I am currently giving the interior a little spiff up. I am wandering what is the hole for on the top of the vanity to the left of the sink close to the toilet? There is also a hole on the side close to the toilet near the top. Then there is two holes on the tub side of the vanity, I think these where for the hot cold in the shower/tub. Anybody have insight? All the holes are in the 3/4" diameter range. Just curious.
Sounds like one could have been for a spray hose that was in some of the older units. They were there to help 'clean the bowl' after use...but there was usually only one in the bathroom, the others could have been for faucets that could have been changed out by a previous owner.
You may want to check out the '62 models (you didn't say which model you have) on the Vintage Archives website to see if there are any clues there.

Yep...the one on the countertop was for the hose. And the others are for the shower faucet...
Check out the photos for the '62 Overlander for an original bathroom configuration. If you click on the photos, they will enlarge to get a better view.
