Vent covers and outside propane covers

Is there a replacement for these outside covers? I want to shine up the trailer, and replace the rusted parts, but haven't seen anyone mention these covers. It seems that these are for all the plumbing vents, so they wouldn't have to be metal.

Also, the outside covers for the propane water heater and furnace seem to have screws and steel rivets. Is that correct? If not, what should they have, and if I go with a new propane furnace and water heater, can I use these old shields?

Those covers have been history for over 40 years.

Modifying any LPG appliance, is asking for trouble.

I would suggest that you use the proper and correct exterior covers for the water heater and furnace.

Remember, LPG can and does explode.

Then, how about the carbon monoxide???

Sorry, I meant the cover on top of the water vents. The rusted ones.

As for the new propane covers, I'll evaluate those and see what my options are in keeping as much of the aluminum as possible.

those are beautiful. looks like vintage trailer supply is going to be getting a significant part of my tax return.

Since these are galvanized steel, anyone paint them to retard rusting?
