Tail light wiring

Rewiring my original taillights on my 63 Overlander, looking for confirmation on connecting to the TV pigtail. On my 7-way connector I'm going to hook up the "Left Stop and Turn" and my "Right stop and turn". There are two bulbs in the originals so can someone confirm that when braking the second bulb comes on, and that same second bulb flashes when turning? I have no clearance lights, only two teardrop markers up front and two on back (sides). Should I use the "center Auxiliary" for those? "Tail and license" implies maybe something other than my license plate light ...

And while you're at it, could someone report about the best material to use as gaskets behind the lights? I see silicone sheets from Vintage trailer supply, but hungry for a locally available substitute.

Thanks. I’ve got the same diagram. Just wondering how a rear taillight with two bulbs can function as a taillight, a brake light and a turn signal as well.

The bulb in at least one of the fixtures should be an 1157 dual filament device. The smaller filament is tail light. The larger filament is brake light/turn signal light.
The tail lights come on with the headlight switch in the TV.
The brake/turn signal lights are wired in the TV. Which controls their operation.
The turn signal is wired thru the hazard switch circuit. In such a manner that when the hazard switch is off the turn signals operate normally. The turn signal has priority over the brake light in that when you operate the turn signal lever the brake light function is inhibited. Allowing the light to flash indicating you are turning.

TG Twinkie... can you advise further on 12v wiring from the tow vehicle? 1). For marker lights, etc. that are on the same "14g brown wire" for example. I assume I can run that wire "in series" (to the first/closest marker light, then from that 1st light to the 2nd light, to the 3rd, and so on). 2). What about wire to the electric brakes? Can I also wire that in series (wire to the curbside brake, then from that connection to the street side brake)? 3. With the understanding that I am just at phase 1 (running 12v to exterior lights from the 7-pin tow vehicle only), do I need a 12v deep cycle battery at this point? Can that come later, at phase 2 (when I wire 12v to interior lights, fixtures, appliances, etc.)? Or maybe I need the battery now in phase 1, to power the breakaway switch? The converter could come in phase 2 then? Thanks!
