Table and mystery snaps

My '63 Overlander has a small, free-standing pedestal table with drop leaves. Wondering if it is original.

Also, on the exterior, there are snaps riveted down the sides that seem to correspond with either end of the awning rail. That makes sense- to perhaps secure a screen or side awning? But what about the row of snaps along the bottom? If anyone has photos or a schematic of these snaps in use I would be so happy to see.

It sounds like the snaps might be for a "screen room" attachment to the awning. The ones along the bottom would be to secure a flap of screen or fabric that would extend from the snapline to the ground to keep bugs from flying into the screen room from under the trailer.

Thank you very much. Mine is not nearly that nice. Smaller, square laminate top.

I think I may have a desirable front panel to my Demetic fridge. Its a world projection drawing. I know utee94 was looking for one, or at least he was in a thread a few years old... I sent him a private message but haven't heard back.

Do know of what I speak?

I've seen a row of 3 or 4 snaps used to attach canvas wheel/tire protectors. Those that I saw matched the awning canvas.

I also heard of someone skirting their trailer this way, in a thread somewhere on this forum.

add edit:
maybe this is where I read it

I know that member Goransons is looking for a table like that for a historical restoration he is doing.

Ours is 1970 so your mileage may vary...

Our table is not free standing. It folds down toward the street side wall.

The snaps go to vinyl covers for the tires to keep them out of the sun. Ours came with those.
