That trailer looks like a good place to smoke meth or crack. Glad I do neither.

What do I think?
I think aluminum pays $1.20/ pound, Wire w/ insulation pays $.60/ pound, and steel pays $1/ 100 pounds. The beer cans only fetch $.50/ pound.

The 63 has a name.

It just hit me as I was taking these shots. Since this trailer was ditched on it's side I should call her Eileen, get it I lean.
Spent most of today pulling window frames from the shell and them covering the openings with plastic in an attempt to try and close it in for now. Eileen is going to reside in the back forty of this place for a while until I finish Spencer (the 73). She will probably double as a storage shed also.
6 out of 9 windows are out and only one is covered so far. My worker Dave slipped off the step stool and cut his hand pretty badly so he is at the hospital now getting stitched up. We had to first remove all the broken glass from the windows so thank God he didn't fall on that.

Medical update Dave is back with two stitches. He cut his finger at the knuckle right down to the bone. It was his right hand so now I'll have to call him lefty for the next two weeks until the stitches come out. He did enjoy his visit with the well proportioned nurse that help him get stitched up.

Advanced Form Of OMAR

Chris,

People that acquire them in a very advanced state of damage probably have a yet to be named form of OMAR. This form is rarely seen on the forum, but it has been reported.

Good Luck with the project when you get to it.

Shawn I don't think three A/S qualifies as a hoard.
If I ever get to the stage where I have one from every year and every model well then yes I would be a hoarder.
For now I settle for one from every decade.
A 30's, a 40's, a 50's, a 60's (well maybe two), a 70's, an 80's, a 90's, a 00's, and a 10's. Come to think of it 10 probably would be a hoard.
Maybe I could open a living museum where you could camp in any decade you want.

Does seven trailers count as to having a problem? Two of which are still at the PO houses!

Hey Chris. I think you should have called the new trailer Pringle cause she has lots of wrinkles like the chips!

P.S. A bird ran into my wing window and broke it. No kidding. Can I get the $200 back I paid you for the NOS wing window? I mean, you are giving windows away right?

Lamce are you serious? A bird broke your window? Was that the new one I sent you? I didn't see that you had installed it yet. I'm sorry to hear about that. Maybe the bird thought that because it is called a wing window he needed to fly into it.
I know you Texans do things big but that must have been some big bird.
I'm not giving away windows just trading them for services. I think in order to finish the Buddha Baby I need to find lots and lots of windows for Frank. LOL.

Not in my book. Seven is a good start and a lucky number.

No Chris. I'm not serious at all. Just some light hearted fun. Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers.

Man you had me so upset for you. Now I'm pissed that you got me so good. What's next are you going to offer me some oceanfront property in Arizona or offer to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge? I must really be gullible as I bought it hook line and sinker or should I say beak. claw and feather.

Eileen got cleaned out this morning and she looks much better now that the "crack den" is gone.

Has anyone seen these lights. I'm not sure if they are original but are kind of cool. Aluminium frames with white plastic lenses. They should polish out really well.

I did find some floor rot all over the place and it is flexible almost everywhere. I'm not sure if it is rotten or just soft because it looks like 1/2" and not 3/4' like my Excella. This is the spot where the fridge would be.

I'm going to spend the rest of the day cleaning up the window openings and then cover them in plastic. Then Eileen goes in to the back and there she will stay for a while.

Shawn and I stopped by the local A/S dealer yesterday just to take a gander at them. Surely this is the first step to joining OMAR.... going to look at A/S you are pretty sure you are not going to purchase
