Does anyone know how I can find out what the blue book value is on my 64 Overlander? We are trying to apply for a title. The inside of the the trailer was gutted because of its' poor condition. The outside is in good condition. Can anyone help? I have pics posted on the site.
Hi Pam. I'm not sure there is a valid blue book on a unit this old. NADA values only go back to 1975? Condition becomes much more important to determining value. A well-researched & frequently updated resource is R.J. Dial's Price vs. Condition - Airstream Values. This isn't a comment on what you paid but you're clearly dealing with salvage if the inside was gutted. For setting a title/taxation value, I'd say as-is value for a gutted Airstream is at the low end of what R.J. Dial says. You're going to create value with sweat equity while paying sales taxes on tools and materials along the way. You see what you can climb up to on R.J. Dial's site -- or you would be able to set a value by comparing similar sales on our classifieds or at The Vintage Airstream Club.
