My '62 Overlander now what?

I have been a member for some time trying to get ideas and info as I'm sure most are also doing. The inside has been mostly removed only a few over head cabinets left, it was being used a wood kiln, the previous owner was stacking rough sawn lumber in it and using a wood stove to heat it up for drying the lumber.
I had dreams of restoring it back into a camper again but being without work for two years has put it on hold. And now I wonder if I should sell it to someone who can rescue the old girl.

If you don't really want to do all the work it would take, and that might be a whole lot.. why not sell it in the classifieds here or on Craig's List to someone who will.
No reflection on you, that big a job is just not for everyone.
Get a few bucks and maybe buy one closer to being done.

Don't sell. You won't get what it is worth. Look for somebody near you that may
have an interest in helping with the restore. Lots of AS enthusiasts there in Indiana.

I agree with both of you I am not physically capable of doing a proper restoration now that I know what it means to restore it to original, and I would like to sell it but I want a fair price. I'm not sure what that is in it's current condition but I know somebody out there would get better use out of it than I am.

Fair Price = what you paid for it or => what you paid for it + extra money for beer. Clean it up some, get some interior pirs and a good description of it and sell her. Could be someone out there wanting to restore one and you've already removed the insides making their job easier.

I suppose someone could use it as a "toy-hauler" as is, with that big back door- stick a big canoe in there, or motorcycles, or a sail-plane, or?? For the right price someone will buy it, and you'll know what the right price is when someone buys it! Good luck.
