We have had Dolly out 2 or 3 times now, so far all of the magnetic latches seem to be working very well. I haven't even adjusted them yet.

I finally remembered to order Nuvite F7 and S from VTS, today I figured I'd just see what F7 would do. I shouldn't have done that...

It's too dang hot to polish but I can't seem to stop.

I have a few bad spots that the rouge bars just couldn't make go away, F7 made them vanish.

I finally took some time and worked on Dolly. The 1 page checklist is slowly getting shorter, today was the addition of a flip up cabinet extension. Last summer I bought one of those fancy flip to lock supports so I figured I'd go ahead and use it. It is a bear getting the mounting points in the right place so every thing opens and closes properly. My Formica has been coiled up in the attic so it doesn't want to lay flat. I cut a piece and wedged it behind the house water heater, curled the opposite direction, hopefully it will flatten out. VTS is going to get to sell me another piece of edge trim, I was a bit short from my last order.

I also got started on the last hanging shelf that goes over the bed. Waiting on glue to dry...

I saw on the news last night that we are having a record breaking summer, it's been 300 and something days since we hit 95 degrees. So it's cooler than normal but the wet has made up for it.

I couldn't stand it...it is hot and humid but I HAD to polish some more but as the cloudiness parted, I could see the error of my ways. Actually I could see the pool.

Done polishing for today!!!

Lookin' good Vernon. I was polishing today too, but I had to stop when it got over 95. It would be nice to have a cool pool like you have.

One more item off of the check list...the shelf that's over the bed. It's perfect for blankets and throw pillows!

Yeh, but ya can't ride down the road with blue on....it's a police color--red & blue belong to them--but PINK--only the flamingos own it!!

Well, we can compare notes...
It seems that a few years back, Officer Obey didn't care for my neon...
27 - 8" x 10"' color glossy photo later I now have my finger prints in Washington...

If I had only had pink neon...

Lets just say, if you are pulled over and being lectured by Officer Grumpy about how the only color lights allowed on your vehicle are white, yellow and red, and that your purple/bluish neon license plate holder is in non-compliance...its not a good move to point out that the Dominoes Pizza guy just drove past with a big glowing white, red and blue sign on the roof.

Back in my military days I had a discussion with a USAF Security Policeman about his level of intelligence, As the conversation progressed I mentioned casually that the only reason he was a SP was that he was to stupid to be a cook, the conversation deteriorated rapidly from there and I was soon spread eagle on the ramp. Not my finest hour, but my CO thought it was just as funny as I did in his office, after I was reprimanded.

Dolly spent the day as a Pool House. Our cool summer finally(?) turned hot and the only thing to do is try and stay cool.

I think She may stay parked right there for a while...or until we decided to go camping again.

I'm almost ashamed to say that Mac is turning into a City Dog. He gets hot and wants to come inside and lay on the cool floor. Geez, ya turn on air-conditioning and everyone goes soft...
