I used a black bar and got some of the corrosion out but I am afraid to go too deep. Did you have any of that to deal with? Also- are you cleaning the buff with anything?
I tried TSP which works great in my cyclo pads and wool but not so great on the cotton.
My Overlander is looking better but still has a ways to go.

I have used the black but I found that 800, 1000, 1500 grit wet paper followed by the brown bar works pretty good. So far I have been using the wheel rake on the cotton wheels. I haven't stepped up to the cyclo yet.

Are you wet sanding by hand, if not, what kind of sander are you using?

For this fine grade of wet sanding, I have always tried to use a wet sponge between my hand and the paper. It holds some moisture and also minimizes the chance of getting a spot with excess pressure.

Still Polishing...I did get the 12 volt fuse block installed. A definite upgrade from the original system...one circuit for the entire trailer
We are now on a timeline...our son and daughter-in-law want to go camping with us on Memorial day so we booked 2 sites...one for the 34'er and one for Dolly...

Ya know, I think I got it off of EBay, I'll have to check next week. I'm thinking it cost about $60
Anyone know a cheap souce for 2 of these? They are for the vent stacks thru the roof...

Well, does buying the raw materials count as 'Started"?

Yeah, it's been a fun process going thru all of the details...
I did get the street side 1st pass polished today. The only untouched panel is the rear under the window.
