I keep the hexagonal knob in order to re-use on the new wood.

I can't keep the original wood, it's too fair... but I can save the structure and cover with new wood panel.

At the beginning, I wished to make the same interior as the original but no... now, I have an idea for the new plan in using some original parts : gas lamp body and gas switch for the decoration for example and using new wood panels.

Like the hexagonal knob, I wish use it for a new life ! But thank you for the advise

I just threw away the WC and the bath...

I would like to have a simple interior, convenient to use and be capable to live during 3-4 days in complete autonomy

Until your are done, keep as much as possible. The walls are priceless as templates, every little fitting has value to some folks.

Yes, of course, I kept all little details but I suspect the wall aren't the original because the cutting around the panel isn't clean, it's seems that they have been cut with a saw (an old saw )

I've saved also (to use again) and I've saved all the little interior details

Looks good!

Did you get the information you needed on windows from Shelly's and Frank's postings?

I'm sure others may disagree, but I prefer Lexan for the front window over glass or a rock guard. You do have to be gentle with it because Lexan scratches. We lost a front window to a rock on the highway in Texas -- a long way from home.

If you look at Shelly's blog, you'll see LED Lights that will fit under the "cupcake" lights that you have installed. I have installed the same lights and feel safer on the road with them.

Bon nuit

Not at the moment, but I hope soon

I agree with the front windows but it seems very difficult to find rockguard here... maybe in UK ? I'll look for it, I think it's important, you're reason !

In France, I can't find .125" glass but only 3mm or 4mm (.118" or .157"), I think .157" is better, the glass professionnel coming back soon with the two models, then I'll can choose the better.

I haven't seen the LED Light' Shelly on the blog. I'll have more time to read it the next week (and yours of course)

I'm checking If I have all interior parts :

And I've fixed the new logo

In order to drive safety, I've riveted correctly the shape under the frame... it needs around 40 rivets...

Also, I have to fix correctly the brake electric cable :

Those screens look nice. Dark mesh really changes the appearance of the trailer.

Dear FRiends,

I wanted to clarify about the flag (confederate flag), I forgot to indicate.

Of course, there see any affiliation or other insult, in France, few people know the true story, it was to make a nod to the car "General Lee"

I knew the description and I'm sad to konw what did it happens...

I hope I have not hurt people.

Thank you for your understanding and I'll change it later.

Good pictures.

Do you intend to repair the rear bumper? Or replace it?

Thank you John,

I think I can repair it, for sure, it should be cheaper than to replace it because the shipping cost from USA for a bumper is too expensive for this part.

Today, I’ve fixed my first glass.

I’ve modified the glazing gasket I had because impossible to find the good for my frames…

The Butyl is perfect, it catches very strong the glass, I added Sikaflex (black… I should have taken gray…), I have to fix carefully…
