1960 Overlander #26DSS0394

Bought this about 15 years ago and just now getting around to my first Airstream restoration.
Working from the front, I've removed the bed/couch, water tank, wall furnace, fridge and all cabinetry to the bedroom wall.
So far the only subfloor replaced is immediately at the entry and I went ahead and removed a 2x6' section that I was able to carefully tuck back under the wall framing and secure properly. The rest of subfloor is in great shape.
I'm trying to find electrical wiring diagrams. Anyone have any? This is wired 110V/12V with side by side lighting fixtures at the front, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Also has the 12V orange wire at the vent fan motor. Under the front couch, curbside, there is also an orange wire that I think was for the air pump that pressurized the water tank, but is missing.
I can't find the 12V fuse box. Any ideas?

Welcome! My 1961 Overlander also has side by side 110v & 12v, such as, all the lights, the furnace fan, the overhead vent fan, and stove vent fan. It did not have a 12v fuse box. It had one inline fuse coming off the battery. I've read here that some owners that have these early '60s Airstreams had a 12v fuse under the front couch behind a panel in the front wall. I do not know of any wiring diagrams that are available.

Hi there!

By the six year gap from now to your original al post, I’m figuring you figured out the electrical. Could you help walk me through what was where?

Air-Dreams: Assuming you have not disassembled the interior yet. As mentioned in the earlier posts you may find some in-line 12 volt fuses. On my 58 there was a 'fuse box' on the interior wall close to the outside shore power plug in.

It was located in the rear bath closet. Notice the ground to the skin.

A converter was located in the kitchen sink cabinet.

I wouldn't recommend retaining any of the wiring in the trailer.
