After resisting the urge to flog my inclination for excess extra work, my new wife and I obtained a
1958 18' California built airstream. This particular trailer sat in the same spot for over 50 years. I was amazed that both wheels rolled and the tires held air! I spent about six hours liberating the trailer from its resting place. A fence had been built around it and newer trailers semi-blocked egress. Most of the neighbors turned out to watch.

We have been removing the most extreme oxidation and reassembling the detached pieces. The door is reassembled and the original lockset now moves again for the first time in decades. All the windows were seized open but now open and close. The exterior lights have been removed and we have LED modules to insert in the original enclosures.
Yesterday evening the light was just right to capture the vestiges of a "wally" sticker over the front window.
