The Final Week Before Departure Day

With a morning departure planned for Dec 20, it was all hands on deck to get the trailer finished. It was a perfect storm, considering the last weeks before Christmas are filled with visits, parties, and trips out of town.
In the last week I laid the laminate flooring, installed the sinks (I fabricated the rear sink from a stainless steel bowl), installed the taps and hoses, plumbed the drains, replaced the missing sections of belly pan, and finished my repairs and modifications to the rear bumper. I also put on a new propane regulator and lowered the propane tie down to hold 20lb tanks.
I decided to install a 1.5" hitch receiver in the bumper to hold a bike rack. Rather than weld the bumper back in place I installed brackets and bolted it in so it is removable in the future. Obviously this needs to be sanded and painted still.
The trailer had the arms for a vintage Reese Strait-Line hitch. I sourced a head and bars to match and bought a new shank long enough to set up the weight distributing properly. I wire brushed and painted all of this in the last week as well, and set it up for the proper weight distribution the night before we left!
