Trex and Bunny send there Airstream to the Wheel Doctor today!

I dropped our 72, 31’ Airsteam off at the RV wheel Doctor this morning. They re-packed the wheel bearings and checked the shocks, and brakes. Overall the old girl was in pretty good shape. They replaced a broken spring on one of the brakes and the rest looked “like new.” The only major problem was with the lug nuts.... the hub studs came out with the lug nuts. Had to replace all!
I pulled the old LPG regulator off and replaced with a new one…along with new hoses and connections to the 30 lb tanks. “Porno Bob,” (the plumper), came by and checked all the gas lines, for leaks. Plus he checked the hot water heater and stove...they work great. The Refrigerator is slow to cool, and the bunny wants a new Frig….so I found a Dometic replacement model on sale for $1,000 bucks, at Cousin Gary’s RV. I will pull the old one next week, (would anyone like the have the old Frig? Model # 2803….new model # is FM2820). Also replaced the 8 year old battery.
I am looking at putting a “hide-da” Queen bed in the front room. The original will be available by next week, if anyone is looking for a gaucho sofa…its grey in color and in need of some work.
Nice to get the safety stuff done today, and now I can move on to things I can do, like replace the flooring, and paint the interior. Hard to believe its only been three days of ownership!
Looks like we can take our "Old Girl" to Rolling Hills Casino on Friday nite, for our madden voyage with her…. Trex
