A turn in my luck!!!

In february of 2008 we had our annual meeting for the hunt club and once again I asked the president what was going on with the AS since it was still sitting in the same spot. This time he told me that he had finally given the owner an ultimatum and it had to go since the gentleman had not paid his dues in now two years and he was getting sick of looking at it.I called the owner right then and he finally agreed to sell it rather than having to deal with it and the price was right !!! 500!!! We agreed to meet the next weekend at the the camp so I could take ownership of it YEAH!!! I couldn't wait to get home to get on my computer and start learning everything I could in a week about AS. I found VAS.com and suddenly figured out what I had actually found but not knowing the length or serial # I couldn't wait to get back down there with my tape measure!
