Life in the Slow Lane - Cheyenne, WY

The drive to Cheyenne was uneventful. The campground, although Good Sam rated, probably is not going to be our favorite. It was a place to park for the night so it served our needs.
We parked the AS, got set up and drove around town a bit. They were setting up for Frontier Days but there wasn't much else going on. We found a beautiful city park with a lake and spent the afternoon there. The weather was outstanding. The locals probably thought it was hot but it was like one of those ideal spring days in Texas to us.
That evening I needed to attend a meeting via Face Time. It was a little difficult to hear the group but I was very glad to be included. Thanks, Stacie!
During the meeting a motor home pulled in and set up next to us. I could hear the hubs in the background talking with the owner. It turned out that it was Ann, traveling alone to meet her husband in Salt Lake City. He was flying from Florida with the grandkids and they were all meeting up for a fun vacation.
He had made plans with Ann to stop by later that evening because she has been to Banff he wanted me to hear the tips she had to offer. Chatting with Ann was a delight! We were going to glaze over Calgary due to time constraints. She encouraged us to spend more time there and told us the highlights of the Alberta area. She has also been to Jasper National Park and shared some tips also.
