"Island Girl" Front End Update

Posted 08-08-2010 at 09:24 PM by Roadrunner

After removing the gaucho I was shocked to see a "rats nest" of wiring and other ugly things. I decided to clean up the front end after painting and removing the Univolt and replacing with Intellipower 9100. At the same time we decided to repaint the overhead tambour. I think it might be time for the new gaucho.

Road runner, that cabinet looks beautiful. It's a shame that you will be hiding it behind the sofa. Also, I love the painted tambour cabinet. I want to show my wife how fantastic that looks. did you apply the green paint as well?

Tim...we actually painted the entire interior and are hanging the overhead mahogany cabinets this weekend. I put on two coats of tinted BIN primer followed by Valspar Signature latex. So far so good.
