Porsche Airstream Reverse Midlife Crisis

My wife and I have been looking at Airstream trailers seriously since 2003 when I first joined the forums. We weren't in much of a hurry. We tried to talk ourselves out of it many time and looked at a wide range of alternatives but, the only time I saw my wife have any interest in trailer ownership was when she saw an airstream.
A condo in Atlanta wouldn't seem to be the ideal location to own any trailer but, motivated by the need to escape city life and start camping with our young granddaughter, we made a choice my friends like to call a reverse midlife crisis.
We put up the Porsche and applied some basic horse trading/eBay skills and are now the proud owners of a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban and a 1973 31' International Sovereign (rear bath).
The purpose of this BLOG is share a bit about how the acquisition of the Airstream has influenced our life's journey.
