I have our XS positioned fairly close to the positive bus bar and fused at 40A, so 10AWG is good as well although I only draw 15A (our TV is fused at 15A).
I am worried about the wire gauge and distance from the tvís fuse to the 7pin - while I can guess the distance; I canít see the wire, as itís in a bundle. I do think you are on to something on 10ga as it appears to be the SAE minimum spec. I guess I could start there and do some trial and error as the worst that happens is I blow the TV fuse, and fuses are relatively cheap.
