We almost titled this, "When The Sh?t Hits The Fan In Beauty" but decided against because we don't want to pile on more media stress. Uncertain times call for agility, clear-headedness, beer & corn chips...& we have all those things, including toilet paper

Slab City: The Last Free Place in America.

We spent a week living in this fascinating city on the edge of civilization. We think this is a must-see bucket-list place to visit.

Some would probably shun Slab City's authentic ramshackle patina and declare it off-putting, filthy and profane. We embraced it!
