Load it up!

Today is loading day. Clothes and drygoods, everything except the cold stuff - that's Thursday. The truck is washed and loaded, dual Honda 2000's have been tested. Getting close!
Hummm, what's a good route? With the brutal heat I'm leaning to heading north as soon as possible. Just like 2008, we will avoid the 4 lane roads.

Don't forget the Snowy Range when you cut across SE Wyoming. After the heat and humidity you'll have driven through, you'll find the chill and vistas on this high range just off the highway a real refresher. 9000-10500 foot altitudes. It's a drive that will take you E to W, putting you out at the west end so that you can reconnect with I80. Happy trails...wish we were there too! ~G

Great trip for sure. We camped at Soouthside campg in Dillon. Lots of trout fisherman from everywhere that are willing to show you where to fish. But i am interested in how you mamage your generators. I understand that it is dangerous to leave them unattended at the campsite. I think your idea of puting them in the trunk is the answer but when you go to town for groceries what do you do? I would like to se an indepth discussion of this issue.
