Todays route is from Branson MO to Council Grove KS to meet up with a Pal for the night. Traffic was light so we ran the Interstate until just after COLAWS (we did spend over an hour browsing the rows of wrecked campers, scoring a few hard-2-find Airstream parts), then headed north just befor Joplin. We twisted thru Ft Scott KS and made quick stop to get our National Parks Passport stamped. Many of the small towns on this route still have the brick roads and small town charm...to bad we were kinda on a schedule and couldnt stop as much as we would have liked.

The night sky was crystal clear and we all stayed up WAAAYYYY to late star gazing...
