1959 tradewind on the road

DAY 11 - Sat Aug 7 2010
Cool and sunny morning, stopped in Champion at the little grocery store for ice. We met another local who would hardly let us out of town. We knew the entire history of Champion before we headed north to Vulcan AB. Practically the entire town are devoted fans of Start Trek. Leonard Nimoy (yes, Spock) visited there in June for their Trek Days Festival. I managed to get a picture of my guy with the 'crew'.
We made it to Calgary by 2:15PM and my husband's cousin and wife made us a great chicken dinner with spaghetti squash and zuchini from their huge garden. We ate late, but it was very good.
