Flash forward to Aug 6, we hadn't heard from anyone at the dealer. So i messaged the GM on facebook and said I was interested in the trailer at $7,500. He quickly replied the trailer was on consignment and the owner wanted $15,000 and he listed it at $7,500 to show there was more interest in it at a lower price. After some discussion we decided to approach the owner with an offer of $7,500. The GM said he didnt expect the owner to accept but would try. 45 minutes later I got a reply that he was going to be eating crow as the offer was accepted and asking when we wanted to come do paperwork on our trailer.
