Interior Paint
We're finally near the phase where we're seeing permanent improvements. Its great knowing that the frame is primed and sealed, but there's just something about seeing color...and we're almost there!
We have applied the prime coats to the fiberglass end caps, the shower area, the interior of the aluminum cabinets and the Lexan skylight. These pics are before primer.
I'm gingerly negotiating the finish / topcoat color, but I'm not privy to the decision making (nor do I want to be) . Based on the fabric swatches, laminate chips and color wheel selections I've seen strewn all over, I think the theme is somewhere between "Endless Summer" and "My Little Pony"...God help us!
Its sounding like we'll go in with a powder blue, and since we're using a one-part urethane from Interlux (I'm a boat guy) we'll be mixing Brightsides "Light Blue" into "White" until she calls it good.
She's done an amazing job restoring the original galley cabinets, vanity and the interior wall panels, so we'll reuse those with only a clear urethane finish.
