'Grace', Adventures in Restoring the 'Alumadillo' and other such 'Canned Goodz'...
I am incredibly excited to begin my adventure with 'Grace'!
She is a 1972 27ft. Overlander in wonderful condition and the following blog will attempt to explain in blistering detail, all of the 'Canned Goodz' she contains.
It is a touching story that will document her transformation, including the trans-formative effect she will have on me personally.
Everyone that has helped to breath life into making this a reality for me personally, Thank You! Without your encouragement and support, none of this would have been possible.
It is a story of pure inspiration and joy...

Access Panels...
Tags access panel, hinge, owners manual, schematic, seals
And continuing on with these panels... the seals are shot and I need replacements... Ideas anyone? Also, there's a number of switches... all of which are busted off, and seemingly, not working... or perhaps, I just don't know IF they are or aren't, how they work or if there is a schematic for a '72 27' Overlander out there. An owners manual would be awesome if anyone has it! Anyway, the fun is in the guessing... not knowing... etc.. No, no. It really isn't. Anyone have some info/experience to share? Sources for bits/parts/pieces... etc... would be most appreciated.

Ah-Ha! I found THE Manual resource of resources!!! It's here:
1972 Airstream Trailer Manual Combo All Models
Now, where to come-up with the cash... Details, details... no one ever said it'd be cheap, cause if it was, it sure as heck wouldn't still be on the road like an Airstream is! Quality over quantity... takes time... costs money... And if there is anything I've learned in this life, it's that Price, Quality and Turn-Around are involved in every acquisition, and they are inversely proportional. In other-words... PICK TWO.
