Fresh paint.

You can read more HERE, of course.

For the interior, I chose a white paint appropriately named "Four Winds".

I KNOW, I KNOW -- cosmetics should be last, but I fell in love with this color scheme:

"74" Tradewind Furnace Replacement

Posted 05-15-2015 at 09:37 PM by Roadrunner

As I move along with the kids"s "74" Tradewind "CableStream", it was time to replace the rusted out furnace with a new Suburban. Removal was easy because the galley had been removed.

A new Suburban NT30 SP was ordered. The next challenge was how to connect with the existing plenum. Since the new furnace came with a case, the previous base needed modified...so out came the power shears.

I'm Movin-on-up! My First Airstream Story

Posted 05-09-2015 at 11:43 PM by noremark

I grew to love my “other brand” 29’ trailer. I spend valuable time resting and relaxing in it, not to mention the time and a few dollars. I fixed anything that had not worked. (it was a 1989 and in nice shape for its age) I wasn't sure I would like the layout of an airstream but when I look at the 1992 32’ Excella 1000 I was impressed.

So I will be taking possession here in a few weeks. I have already sold the other one and will use the capitol to fix and restore my First Airstream....

Underbelly naked

Posted 05-03-2015 at 04:21 PM by Ocala mike

Over the last two weekends I managed to remove the sheet metal from the underside of my trailer I was also chasing down the rear and sag to better diagnose a repair .

I removed the gray water tank and tested for leaks the tank seems fine and is not in anyway brittle so it will be reinstalled. I did notice rusty crossmembers that will need to be replaced.

I also removed all the old fiberglass insulation and noticed that my trailer is one of those trailers who's floor...
