Here’s my first project… I’m upgrading my wheels and tires from 14” to 15”. I bought new 15” SenDel S20-56545T wheels and Carlisle Radial Trail HD – ST225/75R15 load range D (2540 at 65psi) and speed rated M (81 MPH). I also bought new McGard lug nuts and found metal bolt in valve stems - Xtra Seal 17-428 at O’Reilly’s, here’s the link:
When I swap the tires, I’ll check the brakes, repack the wheel bearings and add Centramatics. The 14” wheels and tires that are on my 23D now are the original Goodyear Marathons that are date coded early 2011, so they were ready to be replaced anyway. Total cost: about $700 after I sold the old wheels and tires on Craigslist.
Here is some extra info for you 23D owners (pre 2017)...
Axles: Dexter 410980-09 Inner bearing: L68149
Outer bearing: L44649
