HSC Insulation and Chassis Sandblasting

So guess what arrived today!!
HSC!! (short for "hot surface coating")
I will paint the ribs and interior of the exterior skin in order to keep the airstream nice and cool on hot days. For all who want to know, it can be purchased from:
Hal McElroy
hmcelroy@superiorcoatingsusa.com
(Super Therm® and Rust Grip® Products | Official site of Superior Products International)
It costs $50/gallon and comes in 5 gallon buckets. According to Hal, it covers 50 square feet per gallon.
In other news, I started sandblasting today. Let's just say this is not my most attractive look.
It was 35 degrees and windy (wind chill of 25) so I was wearing several sweaters, my hubby's coat, and a big blanket as I blasted away.
I got a few quotes from local sandblasters. One said "not for under $1000", and I said "I'll do it myself, thanks just the same."
It is amazing what that little machine can do!
Look at that bumper shine! Or at least not have crud on it.
