'58 CA World Traveler: Picture Diary #1

It was a rainy day yesterday (9 Mar 10), so good for taking some more pics in the trailer. We found some of the leaks, mainly from windows that we suspected. But the whole thing will be a shell-off restoration anyway, so we're not too dismayed.
View towards the back:

Front shelf; here's where a leak is and has destroyed this:

Original lights are still on the ceiling:

Door under fridge space; here's some more wood to be replaced:

Original table and chair (we believe):

Lights over the curbside twin towards the back that match the lights on either side of the front couch (I love these!!):

The sink and counter top are in AMAZING shape; note that the counter matches that in the bathroom as well as the wall of the shower. Same is true for a pull-out cutting board in the kitchen:

I also love the original light in the bathroom. Again, beautiful condition for being around 50 years!

And finally the door handle; all original. Doesn't look like it's ever been tampered:

We're simply amazed at how much is original on this thing!!
For the next series of pictures, I'll take more inside the cupboards and drawers, and some close ups of the hardware. And any other pictures that turn out really great.

such a shame ... now that the "new" is over interest winds down ... such a cool trailer!
