My wife and I have begun slowly dismantling our 31' Airstream, but being that our rig is parked 10 miles away at a storage yard, I knew I needed an immediate project to work on at our home.

The answer? Window frames. They are painted, grimy, and made of aluminum! They are crying out to be cleaned up and made new again.

My plan was to strip the paint off, and use my 6"...

Luxe Land Yacht - The Pickup, Hitch Setup, & 1st Camping

We picked up our '76 Sovereign from Carlock, IL on July 30th, 2011 and towed it to Sangchris Lake State Park just East of Springfield, IL for our first night of camping.

Before we could camp we inspected our new rig and hooked up the all in important weight distribution hitch.
