fitting 6v sla batteries in frontload boxes on 87 soveriegn

Hi, has anyone had any luck fitting 6v agm batteries into the under couch boxes on older airstreams. I found a mighty mite 6v 200ah sla battery then seems like it would fit in the group 27 box. i was thinking of running two in series instead of the original 12v. if anyone has done this or knows of anyone who has, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
