Problem with Dometic AC

We are also having issues with our second AC Dometic unit in our 2016 30’ Classic. The front AC works perfectly, the back AC will not cool if the inside of the Airstream is very hot, but if you run the front one until the temperature inside drops down into the 70s, then more times than not, the second unit can then be turned on and will deliver cool air. It’s obviously not a coolant problem. We checked the fuse box, and inspected the unit on top, but no conclusions.
